National PA Day

National PA week is held each year from October 6-12.  The week serves to celebrate the significant impact PAs have made and continue to make in health care, expand awareness of the profession and to salute the outstanding growth of the physician assistant profession. There is no better time than this week to show your own pride in your profession and for patients, friends and loved ones to show how much they appreciate PAs.

RIAPA has banners and other assorted PA paraphenalia.  If you'd like to have any of this for a table or other display at your hospital/organization, please contact us.

The past two years, several PAs at Kent Hospital have celebrated PA week by listing the week in the hospital newsletter, hanging a banner in the lobby, and manning a table with posters, brochures, mugs, candy etc.  Two of the Kent PAs, Elizabeth Cadoret and Peggy Stone, are pictured celebrating in the photo below.

Channel 10 recognized RIAPA and National PA Week during their famous AM coffee cup salute.
